This is NOT a recall. In response to customer reports, Bugaboo is proactively reaching out to provide a new and improved carry handle for the Bugaboo Cameleon and Bugaboo Donkey. Some customer reports have shown that the white button of the carry handle of these two models may pop out when the carrycot or seat is resting on the ground or on an unstable surface. It is important to note that the safety risk is low, and no injuries have been reported.
To receive your new handle, you must register on Bugaboo's site. The Cameleon handle is ready now and will ship with two weeks of registration. The Donkey handle will not be available until the end of February. Bugaboo will follow up with Bugaboo Donkey owners when the new handle will become available.
