UK stroller brand, iCandy, has finally made it to the USA and Canada. Their website now has an open Shopatron store where you can order products, as well as a preview for what is coming next fall.
Right now you can buy the Apple, Pear and Cherry strollers with the Peach stroller due out this fall.
Meet the Koo. It's the newest invention of California design company, Lunar, and you will love it. It's a bassinet that transforms into a parent rocker simply by unfolding and unhooking it. A great modern, space-saving invention! It is not out yet, but Lunar plans to keep everyone updated as to when it will debut.
After it comes out, Lunar plans some more cool baby products. Be on the lookout for a tree stand that functions as a mobile, a baby monitor, and a sound-activated thermoelectric bottle warmer/cooler all in one and a fabric pillow/monitor that lights up as the baby cries.
You can read more about it and see more pictures on Inhabitots.
Now this is the kind of product I would have included if I wasn't too busy to make another gear guide. The Mamaroo from 4Moms is getting great 5 star reviews from different parenting sites. Everyone seems to love it, which does not come easy for a bouncer. After reading parent reviews on products for years, I've noticed that bath tubs, bouncers and thermometers usually have the harshest critics.
Does anyone out there have one? I'd like to hear about it.
Baby product-maker Boon has teamed up with Plum Organics baby food to create the Plum Dispensing Spoon. It's a mini-sized Squirt spoon made to fit on top of a Plum Organics food pouch. The spoons are sold in packs of two and come in a case. They easily attach to Plum Organics JUST fruit and Second Blends baby food pouches.
The spoons are made to last and are dishwasher-safe.
Stokke will release their 2010 version of the Xplory in June at two Los Angeles baby stores, Bel Bambini and Kid's Land. They will be having special deals at these two locations as well when the stroller launches. All other stores will get the stroller in July.
This picture was taken today at the She's Having A Baby Event. It's the first time I've seen one in person, along with the new Rider sibling board on the back.
Check out all the gift bags from the She's Having A Baby Event today. Each mom that came went home with one of these awesome bags, filled with all kinds of prizes. I'll let you know when more of these events happen.
The First Years recently received more 5-star government ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for their car seats than any other manufacturer. The brand got the highest overall Ease of Use rating of five stars for its infant, booster and convertible car seats.
To date, The First Years is the only brand to achieve 5-stars for overall Ease of Use in each of these car seat categories.
This is Baby Bjorn's new highchair, which is now available in Europe. I'm wondering if the USA will be getting it anytime soon? It's a neat little modern, space-saving highchair that works from age 6 months all the way up to 2. The foldable tray locks the baby in place, so there's no harness involved. The whole thing completely folds up to and can be placed in a corner. You can read more about it on their website.
I sadly did not get to attend the ABC Kids Expo Spring Conference (in my hometown no less) earlier this month, but Magic Beans did and they have a nice little photo display here on the various new things.
One thing that I did want to point out is the new Britax B Ready stroller. It's like a cross between the UPPA Vista and the Phil&Ted strollers. The top seat is reversible and full recline, while the second seat is also full recline and both allow for Britax car seats to be attached. Very cool. No word on when it will come out.
Britax released a similar stroller in the UK called the B Dual earlier this year.

Baby furniture company Million Dollar Baby has bought Nurseryworks. Nurseryworks, the very modern and very green baby furniture company, has been around now for about six years and will keep it's founder, Traci Fleming, as president. No word yet on what changes the customers will see.

Peg Perego updated Skate is now out. The new 2010 version has new colors a larger basket that can still be removed and it's got handles for easier carrying. They've also made it easier to open and close. The bassinet feature has been redesigned with more padding and the seat feature has more room.
Sorry for the lack of updates, but I've been on vacation this week and I have not had a lot of internet access. Also there has been a real lack of news lately. But I'm trying, so....
Did you know this? Many health insurance plans cover certain breastfeeding-related expenses—whether it be breastpump rental/purchase or a visit with a lactation consultant.
Because coverage for these expenses varies widely among different health insurance plans, Medela has worked with respected insurance experts to provide families with reimbursement-related resources to help them determine what their insurance will cover. This information can now be found on Medela’s new insurance reimbursement site at www.breastfeedinginsurance.com.
Kourtney Kardashian was spotted out and about in Calabasas, CA with her family earlier today. This time baby Mason rode in a new stroller we haven't seen before: Bugaboo's special RED edition of their Cameleon. I don't know if this has been discontinued or it hasn't come out yet, but I can't find it anywhere online.
Kaloo has opened its first ever North American store. The store is located in San Juan, Puerto Rico and will sell the complete range of Kaloo from soft toys, bedding and décor, to Canadian-made furniture, clothing and accessories. Here's hoping we get one in mainland USA soon because I love Kaloo!
