Janie and Jack is hosting a Friends and Family event from Oct 1-3. You can get a copy of the coupon here, which is good for 30% your entire purchase. Oct 4 will bring a brand new holiday collection as well.
Bloom will be launching a new crib and a new dresser this January. The Alma Papa and the Alma Dresser will be added to the collection. The Alma Papa will be an upgrade from the current Alma (which they are still keeping around as the Alma Mini).
The Papa allows for the side to be removed so it can be used as both a crib and a co-sleeper. It has two mattress heights and can also be folded up just like the Mini.
In spring 2011, Bugaboo will introduce the Bugaboo Donkey. It's the first double stroller for Bugaboo and it's being billed as the first ever "mono-duo–mono convertible stroller". Which means it can convert from a single stroller to a double stroller and back again with three easy clicks.
In single form, the Bugaboo Donkey is 23 inches wide, the same width as the Bugaboo Cameleon. In the double form, the Bugaboo Donkey is 29 inches wide, making it the narrowest (luxury) side-by-side duo stroller.
The single form features a single seat next to a storage basket, while the double features two seats or a seat and a bassinet. I don't know about two bassinets or car seats at this point.
I don't have much more info that. Hopefully I'll get some at ABC next month.
Giggle is set to open its first Boston area store at Legacy Place in Dedham, Mass next weekend. To celebrate the store opening, Giggle will have events throughout its Grand Opening Weekend, September 25 and 26. The events are free, and no registration necessary.
Orbit has introduced a new accessory for the G2 stroller. The Sidekick Stroller Board is an attachment that allows older children to ride along with the stroller. But unlike other boards, this one actually allows a "skateboard" side-riding position for kids. Read more about it here.
Legendary Greenwich, CT children's store, Best & Co, went out of business a few years ago as you may recall. However, the company was apparently bought from FAO Schwarz at the end of last year by a company called Best & Co llc. They have the offical website running now, with "be back soon" message.
I've emailed them, but didn't hear back. Does anyone know anymore about this? If so, email me.
