Baby Bjorn has released its newest carrier, the Comfort Carrier. It's made for older babies 3 months to 2 years (or 13-31 lbs). A newborn can't use it, but it can be used much longer than their other carriers.
It has a hip strap to help distribute the weight of the baby across the parent’s hips, instead of just across the shoulders. It retails for about $200 and so far this is the only color I have seen. Magic Beans has it in stock.
