I am typing this from our hotel room in NYC- it is 2am local time, but 11pm (my usual time-so says my trusty laptop)...we had an awesome travel day today!
Above you can see Alani leading the pack to the elevator in JFK airport...
in the plane she said, " This feels like a dream! Am I dreaming?"...she is so precious!

And Blake said, as we looked out the window when we landed...."New York City is beeee-yoooo-teee-ful"....
Blake and Lightning McQueen, Alani and her Hello Kitty backpack...as we waited and waited for the broken elevator than never came....I just ended up balancing the stroller down the escalator- but don't worry baby was safe in my moms arms as I did that.
The kids did so awesome on the flight- Blakey slept the entire flight, on my left shoulder. Baby slept for half the flight on my lap....and Alani watched Stewart Little on my mom's ipad, on my right. We brought snacks with us....and since I forgot to bring the kids headphones....I let Alani wear mine to watch her movie and I just sat and imagined what Sherlock Holmes- the "in-flight" movie, might sound like if I could hear it. ha ha ha
and as soon as we landed....a little lady went straight to grab her purse, out of my purse....and she walked with her purse the rest of the way...
And this was our parting shot in the plane before we got off in NYC!
PS. We ordered food, because we were all hungry.....now we are going to try to get all cozy, but there is a night club somewhere super close...it sounds like it's right below me or next door...and it sounds like I am in the club...I love me some fun dance music, but not when the bass is rattling your room and you want to sleepy sleep...ha ha ha
