I was rather surprised to read this just now on Twitter. Ergo baby carriers has bought Orbit! The purchase was announced today, costing Ergo around $17.5 million. The goal is to "expand its leadership position in the child mobility and transport product category". Joseph Hei and Bryan White, co-founders of Orbit Baby, will continue to serve in senior management roles.
Not sure what this will mean for Orbit in terms of the future, but I guess we will find out.
