When I was 6, all I wanted was to be 12...when I was 12, I wanted to be 16, so I could finally drive.
And now that I really am excited to be in my 30's...
30's are great...there is an awesome level of confidence and "I don't really care what people think anymore" that isn't around nearly as much as when you're in your teens and 20's...
I wish I could go back and tell myself all this in high school...
*wear what you want and don't care what anyone thinks
*have crazy hair colors
*be who you are inside, let the world see, if someone doesn't like don't listen to them or get away from them
*don't let any guy be your "everything"...be happy whether you have a guy or not. You were born alone and you made it just fine all those years growing up without one. And you probably had a lot of fun as a kid without a "boyfriend"...the right one will show up when it's time and it won't hurt your heart when they do.
*trends come and go...wear what you love and makes you happy...that's real style!
*life is too short to not be who you are....say what you think is funny, don't be shy, this is your one life to shine baby!

I am super excited to be 33...it's the same digit repeated...it's got double the "th-th" sounds when you say it....3's are cool shaped numbers, and "kandee" and "thirty-three" have the same sounding ending
....and each year is an awesome gift no matter how old you are...
and one of my favorite celebs, Gwen Stefani is 41, and she is timelessly cool to me!
40's are the new teens...if you don't know, now ya' know...spread the word! ha ha
now I can't wait til I'm 65....senior discounts at buffets baby! ha ha ha
